About this

I kept seeing people call out misinformation about AI or call out people like Sam Altman for lying, but when I looked for a comprehensive history of this I couldn't find anything. So I decided to make up for it, and was inspired by what the great Molly White is doing over on Web3 is Going Just Great. Oh and parts of this were somewhat vibe-coded, which may or may not be ironic to you.

What counts as a lie?

Well there are, admittedly, different kinds of lies. Also, it's hard to always be sure that something is a lie and not just a mistake. So on this website, a lie can be either Probable or Certain, and either Outright or (by) Omission. Depending on how a lie gets classified, it will be marked with a different emoji, as explained below.
